What makes Glow & Behold different?

Every product is handcrafted in small batches using 100% organic ingredients and nutrient-rich, grass-fed tallow. We never use synthetic fragrances, artificial preservatives, petroleum, parabens, phthalates, seed oils, or unnecessary fillers—just ingredients your skin recognizes and loves.

Why tallow?

Tallow has been trusted for generations to nourish and protect skin. Rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K and skin-compatible fatty acids, it helps support the skin barrier while leaving skin soft, healthy, and deeply moisturized.

Will I smell like beef?

Not at all! Our carefully rendered tallow is exceptionally clean and virtually odor-free. Any scent you notice comes only from our pure organic essential oils—or no scent at all in our fragrance-free products.

Why do you use kidney suet instead of regular beef fat?

Not all tallow is created equal.

At Glow & Behold, we use grass-fed, grass-finished kidney suet—the prized fat that surrounds the kidneys. Suet is naturally firmer, cleaner, and more stable than mixed body fat (often called trim fat), producing an exceptionally pure, smooth tallow that's ideal for skincare.

Our suet is slowly rendered in small batches to preserve its naturally nourishing properties. The result is a luxurious moisturizer that's rich in skin-loving vitamins and fatty acids, absorbs beautifully, and leaves skin feeling soft—not greasy.

Are your products really 100% organic?

Yes. We formulate with 100% organic ingredients chosen for their purity, quality, and performance. Every ingredient is thoughtfully selected because we believe your skin deserves only the very best.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?

Many customers with sensitive skin love our products because they're free from common irritants and synthetic ingredients. However, every person's skin is unique, so we always recommend performing a patch test before first use.

Do your products clog pores?

Tallow is naturally compatible with healthy skin and works beautifully for many skin types. Because everyone's skin is different, results can vary, but most customers find our products absorb quickly without leaving a greasy residue.

What do your products smell like?

We never use synthetic fragrances.

Some products are completely fragrance-free, while others are lightly scented only with pure organic essential oils for a clean, natural aroma.

Are your products safe during pregnancy?

Many of our products are suitable during pregnancy, but some contain essential oils that may not be appropriate for everyone. If you're pregnant or nursing, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before using products containing essential oils.

Are your products cruelty-free?

Absolutely. We never test on animals.

How long do your products last?

Because we don't use synthetic preservatives, we recommend using your products within 12 months of purchase. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight for best results.

Do I need to refrigerate my products?

No. Simply store them at room temperature away from excessive heat or direct sunlight.

My product softened or melted. Is it still okay?

Yes! Because we use natural ingredients, products may soften or melt in warm temperatures. This doesn't affect their quality or effectiveness.

If your product melts, simply place it in a cool room or refrigerate it briefly until it firms up again.

Why does the texture or color vary from batch to batch?

Every jar is handcrafted in small batches using natural ingredients. Minor variations in color, scent, or texture are completely normal and are a sign of real, minimally processed ingredients—not mass production.

How much should I use?

A little goes a long way. Start with a pea-sized amount and add more as needed.

Can I use your products on my face?

Yes! Many of our products are suitable for facial use. Grace Face Serum and Vital Eyes were specifically formulated for delicate facial skin, while several of our balms and moisturizers can be used anywhere your skin needs extra nourishment.

We currently ship throughout the United States.

Glow & Behold products are available at Hansen's Surf Shop in Encinitas, California. If you're local and would like your products sooner than shipping, stop by—they carry our full line at the same prices as our website.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery and include photos of the damaged package and product. We'll work quickly to make it right.

Do you accept returns?

Because our products are personal skincare items, we cannot accept returns on opened products.
